What’s the best way to preserve your independence?

Independence Day! Two hundred fifty years ago, we rose up and defied a tyrant.

What’s the best way to preserve your independence today?

Train like your life and freedom depend on it.

Because they do.

Every squat, lunge, deadlift, plank, and press is an act of defiance against the tyranny of aging.

Each rep is a round fired at the oppression of the aging process.

Each workout a skirmish against its degrading and marauding forces.

Each nutritious meal shores up your defenses against its relentless attack.

Each good night’s sleep is a battle against its onslaught on your memory.

A Welshman once exhorted us…

“Do not go gentle into that good night,

Old age should burn and rave at close of day;

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.”

Train like your life and freedom depend on it.

And rage, lift, walk, MOVE against the dying of the light.

Do not go gentle into that good night.

Live free!
